黃胤毓 Huang Yin-YuHuang Yin-yu was born in Taitung, Taiwan, and now lives in Japan. He received his BA in Radio & Television from National Chengchi University, and MA in Film Major of Tokyo Zokei University.His first documentary Wuguwang N. St. to Taipei (2010) is an anthropological film about Thai labors in Taiwan. Temperature at Nights (2013) is a private film which portrays the memory in the military service and his childhood, and was selected in the international competition of Visions du Réel, Buenos Aires International Doc FilmFest, and nominated for the best documentary of Taipei Film Festival.

He also made a short documentary YAMAMORI (2014) for the project “Grand Voyage” produced by Naomi Kawase, for Nara International Film Festival 2014.

In 2015, Huang founded Moolin Films, Ltd. in Taiwan. Now he’s based in Okinawa, producing a series of documentaries about pre-War immigrants in Okinawa region of Japan. 2016, his first feature film, After Spring, the Tamaki Family… (2016) was theatrical released in Taiwan and Japan; and was selected in Taipei Film Festival, DMZ Docs, Hawaii International Film Festival and other festivals. The latest project Green Jail was selected in the 2015 “Doc Station” of Berlinale Talents, and received the grand prize of “2015 Pitching du Réel” and selected into “2019 Docs In Progress” in Visions du Réel.Now Huang works as not only a director, but also a producer, coordinator, and festival director. He’s responsible for the Japanese coordinator of “Taiwan Trilogy” by well-known director Te-Sheng Wei, which is the largest production of Taiwan cinema history. He also represents as the festival director of “Cinema at Sea – Ishigaki Island International Film Festival” which will held its st edition in 2020, focusing on outdoor VR experiences in Japan with compelling selection of documentaries and fiction films.

何孟學 Ho Meng-HsuehBorn in Taipei, Taiwan. Graduated from National Chengchi University, Ho Meng-hsueh is an independent filmmaker dedicated to filming in Theater, Dance Theatre and documentary field with his strong interest in image. He learned editing from Bowen Chen, one of the famous editors worked with Edward Yang, and has been collaborated with director Huang Yin-yu since university.

中谷駿吾 Nakatani ShungoGraduated from Film Major of Tokyo Zokei University, Shungo Nakatani has been collaborated with director Huang Yin-yu since 2014 as a cinematographer. His latest work as a cinematographer is Huang’s feature-length documentary “After Spring, the Tamaki Family…”, which has theatrical released in Taiwan and Japan. He was also the cinematographer of several Japanese movies which has been selected into domestic festivals for emerging filmmakers such as Pia Film Festival and Image Forum Festival.

傅宜甯 Yvonne Fu
Narrative film and documentary producer

傅宜甯 Yvonne FuIn addition to production managing documentary content for international networks, Yvonne also worked as a line producer and on-site translator for an intercontinental documentary project. Currently focusing on film development and production fundraising. After living in Europe, America, and Beijing for several years, she now temporarily resides in Taipei.

菅谷聡 Sugaya SoBorn in 1987 in Hokkaido, Japan. Graduated from University of the Ryukyus, and received MA of the College of Liberal Arts at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan, So Sugaya is an artist with several art works and literary works since college, and received awards for poems in Okinawa. With the interest in art film, he also worked in the art cinema in Naha, Okinawa.
